Cherry Wooden Bowl

A backyard bowl. I made this from a wild cherry tree in my back yard that was damaged during hurricane Florence. The tree is still trying to hang in there but there's only a few limbs left so I'm not sure how much longer it will survive. The top of what remains was badly damaged so I cut it out to try to curb the rot that I could see was starting. The bowl is 8" in diameter (outside) and 3" tall (2.75 +/- inside depth). It was wet turned and is not exactly round now that it's dried. The contortion of shape is one the characteristics that I love about wet turned bowls.
